If you love art, we recommend excursions to the Veneto cities, all of which can be easily reached by car, train or an organised tour in a short time. Padua is only 10 km away; Venice, the most beautiful and romantic city in the world, is only 45 km from Abano; Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet and home of summer opera, is 80 km away. Again, Treviso and the Marches with its vineyards is 50 km away, and as many more in the opposite direction to reach the mouth of the river Po.

In the Hills there are many destinations worth a visit walled cities such as Este, Monselice and Montagnana, with their typical gastronomic specialities and historical re-enactments, medieval villages such as Arquà Petrarca, named one of the most beautiful in Italy, Venetian villas and marvellous gardens such as Valsanzibio, the Catajo Castle, the Castle of Lispida, places of peace and silence such as the Praglia Abbey and the San Daniele Monastery. The historic centres and villages host small craft workshops where you can still find typical products and objects of our land.

We are proud of an area that produces 12 DOC and 1 DOCG wines and a tasty olive oil. We are at your disposal to suggest wineries in the area where you can taste and buy, followed by the owners.

Good news for golf lovers: there are three golf courses in the Euganean Hills, a short distance from our hotels: Golf Club Padova (9 km), Golf Club della Montecchia (6 km), Golf Club Frassanelle (8 km).
